How we work with Organizations
our 4 step process
Stage 1. Exploration and Contracting:
You begin by requesting a face to face consultation session with us, at no charge or obligation. Using the Art of Working Relationships Techniques and Principles, we will explore with you some of the key interpersonal communications strengths and challenges in your organization. If you are like most leaders we know, you will immediately sense if and how our services may be of value to you.
Stage 2. Planning:
If you hire us, we will co-create with you, your own personalized Art of Working Relationships consultation/staff training program. Your needs, goals, staffing patterns, target groups, budget, and other factors - as they relate to communication skills training - will be addressed in the process.
Stage 3. Implementation:
Prior to the date of the training session(s), we prefer to meet with each participant individually to begin establishing trust, and to tap each person’s wisdom as to his/her needs and the needs of the organization. The Art of Working Relationships communication techniques and principles are at the core of the staff learning experience. Brief lectures, exercises, group discussion, and individual coaching are the learning activities used in the actual training sessions. Length of training sessions range from several hours to multiple full-day trainings or retreats, according to your needs.
Stage 4. Follow up:
Face to face follow up sessions occur with you and any other staff you may choose to have present. Evaluation as well as future planning may take place at this time. As an added support to their growing mastery of the Art of Working Relationships communication techniques, all participants are welcome to arrange periodic telephone consultation sessions with us throughout the training program and for six months thereafter, at no additional charge. (Phone consultation sessions longer than fifteen minutes will be contracted for on a fee basis)
